A student's future is open to incredible possibilities. With the right education, a child can grow to become anything that he or she may dream, be it an engineer, musician, computer technician, or teacher. At Dakota Community Unit School District 201, we are committed to preparing students for a successful life.
Technology is constantly evolving and growing and Dakota has the tools to prepare students for their future careers. Our district offers courses that teach both basic and advanced skills in computer science and other areas of technology.

There is so much more at Dakota other than technology, however. Students are able to participate in a variety of classes and activities. From calculus to cheerleading, Dakota provides its students with an education that is the key to success. Our district offers a wide assortment of student support services as well. These services range from health, guidance, social, special education, and enrichment programs. There is also an on-site daycare and blended pre-school programs.
Above all else, Dakota is a School District centered around community. We continue to receive support, assistance and cooperation from a growing number of parents, community members, and local businesses. District enrollment is less than 1,000 students which ensures that each child receives a great deal of attention and support. Dakota CUSD 201 is a community-based district whose mission is to educate learners of all ages.
