Reading/Language Benchmarks

1. Decodes words
2. Comprehends grade level reading material
3. Reads given text with fluency
4. Writes a paragraph from a given prompt
5. Recognizes high frequency words

Math Benchmarks

1. Adds facts to 18
2. Subtracts facts to 18
3. Identifies place value (ones, tens, hundreds)
4. Determines operations and solves story problems
5. Adds and subtracts 2 and 3 digit numbers (without regrouping)
6. Determines the value of a set of coins up to $1.00 
7. Tells time to hour, half hour and quarter hour 

Students must achieve 80% on each of these assessments.
