Reading/Language Arts

1. Comprehends written material at 3rd grade level
2. Recognizes and uses nouns and verbs correctly
3. Writes sentences using correct capitalization and punctuation
4. Writes a paragraph including a main idea and three supporting details

Math

1. Calculates the sums of 2 digit numbers with regrouping
2. Identifies place value to the nearest ten thousand
3. Calculates the difference of 2 digit numbers with regrouping
4. Computes multiplication facts 0-9
5. Solves a variety of word problems at 3rd grade level
6. Tells time to the nearest minute
7. Rounds numers to the nearest ten and hundred

Students must achieve 70% on each of these assessments.
