Jennifer Fox, Vocal Music

Teaching Experience:
Jennifer Fox has taught in the Dakota School District since 1998. Mrs. Fox has taught music in the Rockford School District at Kennedy Middle School, SpringCreek Elementary and Dennis Elementary from 1982-1997.
Mrs. Fox is currently the Vocal Music Instructor in the Dakota School District, teaching General Music for grades K and 5-6, Junior High Chorus, High School Chorus, Music for Life and High School Theatre. In addition to vocal music, Mrs. Fox is the Musical Production Director and Drama Club advisor.
In addition to her duties in the Dakota School District, Mrs Fox is the Director of Music and Worship at Christ Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL.
Annette Hackbarth, Instrumental Music

Teaching Experience:
Annette Hackbarth has taught at Dakota Schools since 1993.
Miss Hackbarth is currently the Instrumental Music Instructor in the Dakota School District, teaching 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band, Music for Life, Junior High Band and High School Band. In addition to band, Miss Hackbarth is the Orchestra Director for the Musical Productions and Drama Club Advisor.
In addition to her duties at the Dakota Schools, Miss Hackbarth performs on trumpet with the Sterling Municipal Symphony Band in Sterling, IL.
Carrie Schmidt, Art Instructor

Bachelor of Science in Art Education, University of Wisconsin - La Crosse
Teaching Experience:
Carrie Schmidt is in her first year as Art Instructor at Dakota Jr. / Sr. High School. Her teaching duties include Junior High Art and Art 1 - 4.
Mrs. Schmidt likes to spend her free time with her husband, traveling, motorcycling and making art!
