Dakota High School Principal Debra Keith graduated from Freeport High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University.  She completed her Master of Arts in Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Ms. Keith has three grown daughters and a grandson.

Ms. Keith began her career at Dakota in 1980, teaching science and home economics. She served as assistant principal for one year before becoming principal in 1992.
